Sometimes the best you can do is to escape to the nature, to enjoy the mystery of the mountains, to feel the cold water of the rivers  on ones feet and enjoy the sound of the wind in the trees.

So if you love adventure and sightseeing, but also don’t want to miss out on the peace and tranquillity that Himachal has to offer. ,make it to PALAMPUR .It’s one of the best places for a relaxed getaway with family and friends .It is in this scenic hill station, you can feel and experience all the true colours of the nature at its best.

Known as the Tea Capital of the North India , it is a place of positive energies and unfathomable natural beauty. The minute we arrived we could feel something in the air and nearly 2 weeks after arriving back home from PALAMPUR, it still hasn’t left us.

Delhi to Palampur is nearly 9-10 hours by road.

If we had to imagine an environment that mirrored a complete opposite of our daily city life, we probably would have dreamt up something like The Norwood Green Villa.

NORWOOD GREEN  has a total of  FOUR private villas. We spent 2 nights in one of the private villas which boasted a private entrance, expansive outdoor living area , ample parking space, private dining, lounge and backyard, butler service to every villa.

Inside, the villa featured  4 spacious & luxurious bedrooms ,Customized food menu for guests, Well equipped bathrooms Prompt room service and extremely friendly staff, availability of high speed wi-fi internet, availability of LCD screen in each room.

All the cottages are facing the tea estate providing a breathtaking view. The cottages are aesthetically designed and provide total comfort and privacy. The long glass doors and windows provide the most amazing views of the tea estate.

Traveller’s tip :

Remember to grab some small food items whenever you venture out since you might not realize just how much time you want to spend somewhere. And make sure you carry a windbreaker/umbrella, since the weather tends to fluctuate immensely from sunny to cloudy, usually without warning.

Tourist Attractions : Places Around Palampur

Another noting aspect of Palampur is that it does not fall in the interior Himachal to enjoy the beauty of nature. It is very very easily accessible for tourism related activities.

Himachal is a place where nature and human architecture amalgamate perfectly to treat the human eye and stimulate the human mind. The Baijnath is one such spot that easily bags the first position in the list of must visits in Palampur. It is a very famous ancient temple of Lord Shiva. It counts under one of twelve jyotirlingas. The temple, situated at an elevation of 1,314 mts is a small township in the Dhauladhar range of western Himalayas.

With a flying time of 25 – 30 minutes, you get enough time in the air to marvel at the breathtaking vistas of the Dhauladar Range below, feeling the rush throughout.

Known as one of the most picturesque valleys of the lower Himalayas, the Kangra Valley is full of greenery and provides a tremendous contrast in the nature of places you visit.

The Jeep Safari is an excellent opportunity for those who love the thrill and excitement of travelling High Mountain passes. The tour is an exciting mish mash of mountain passes, scenic lakes and barren landscapes, tea gardens , waterfalls that combines to create a trans-Himalayan experience.

Kangra offers a beautiful picnic spot. Located at the confluence of Maihi and Bener rivers,  Kangra Valley represents a confluence of natural beauty with snow white steep mountains and deep narrow valleys surrounded by green pine trees.
